The law association was incorporated in 1923. The Sudbury courthouse was constructed in 1923.
The library is located on the main floor of the courthouse. Barristers lounges and robing rooms are in close proximity. There is seating for 20 in the library reading room and there is wireless access available (code provided by library staff).
